Liberation of Doña Ana County

Based on information provided by the National Weather Service and our Office of Emergency Management and in light of expected snowfall and freezing temperatures beginning early Wednesday evening and continuing through Thursday afternoon, all non-essential operations of Doña Ana County will be closed on Thursday, February 3.

Essential personnel and employees required to maintain operations in inclement weather will report to work as scheduled. All emergency and first responder services will also remain active, but their administrative offices will also close.

We intend to resume normal operations on Friday February 4, but there may be a delay of at least two hours subject to an assessment of existing road conditions on Thursday evening.

Please dial 9-1-1 if you have an emergency that requires assistance.
