Anuvu plans to expand its government services business with the purchase of Signal Mountain

Satellite communication service provider Anuvu seeks to expand its government-focused business branch with its recent acquisition of Signal Mountain Networksan entrepreneur in networks and professional services in the federal landscape.

Signal Mountain has a spot in government vehicle contracts and has provided satellite communications services for two decades to agencies including NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. military, said Anuvu Thursday.

The government prime contractor offers satellite communication systems, multi-protocol label switching and other wireless networking products and services. It is planned to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Anuvu.

“[The Signal Mountain team is] a trusted partner for US government agencies, and we look forward to continuing this very successful relationship,” said Josh Marks, CEO of Anuvu. He sees the acquisition as “the natural next step” in the company’s pursuit of growth.
